Run different processes through the same module (i.e. quotes, jobs, etc.) with different statuses that better match your different processes.
What it Does
If you have different processes in your business, for example, manufacturing, and installation, you can set up different workflows for each one but see them all on the same list and pipeline screens. This applies to all the modules (Quotes, Jobs/Orders, Delivery Notes, Invoices, Purchase Orders, and eForms).
So, on one view you can see workflow, in this example, 'manufacturing' and just the statuses that are relevant to that (Draft, Materials Ordered, In Production, Awaiting Dispatch, Delivered, and Invoiced) :
Whereas with the 'installation' workflow you just see its statuses (Draft, To Scheduled, Scheduled, Delivered, Installing, Client Approved, and Invoiced) :
And see them both (with all the combined statuses):
Each module can have its own sets of workflows. You can also move a quote, job, etc, into another workflow in the same module. See Moving to a Different Workflow.
Setting up a Workflow
For the module you want to set up the workflow select 'Configure' -> Module (i.e. Jobs).
- Click on Workflow on the left-hand side.
- Click 'Add New'.
- Give the workflow a name
- Click on the name and then select the statuses that you want to be part of that workflow:
Do the same for the other workflows you want to set up.
To make sure that your pre-build's are set up to the correct workflow, open up a pre-build, and select the workflow it should be used in:
Creating a Quote, Job, etc in a Workflow

- Select the Workflow with a blank
Moving to a Different Workflow
You can move a quote or job etc. to another workflow by clicking on the status button and select the workflow and status to move it to:
